At Sml, we craft buildings and spaces that move people. Not just visually, but emotionally. Spaces that feel grounded, intentional, and enduring.

Whether it’s a new build or a thoughtful retrofit, our work is rooted in clarity, connection, and the idea that architecture should grow with the people who live it.

Who we are

A London and Vancouver-based studio founded by Mira Yung and Benny Kwok. We met while working in Tokyo, with roots in Hong Kong and upbringings in Canada, bringing diverse perspectives to our work.

Sml stands for Small, Medium, and Large — because great design works at every scale. As a Chartered Practice accredited by both RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and the AIBC (Architectural Institute of British Columbia), we adhere to the highest standards of design and project delivery, ensuring precision and excellence throughout every stage.
