Mira is a Canadian licensed architect with an undergraduate degree in Industrial Design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and a Master’s in Architecture from the University of British Columbia. She spent five formative years at Kengo Kuma & Associates in Tokyo, where she developed a sensitivity to materiality, craftsmanship, and the dialogue between tradition and contemporary design.
Quiet in conversation yet sharp in observation, Mira brings a steady assertiveness when it is time to build. Her approach is hands-on and grounded: she draws by hand, works ideas through making, and considers how a space will feel as deeply as how it is built.
With over a decade of international experience, she has contributed to a wide range of hospitality, cultural, and residential projects from concept to completion. She believes the best spaces take on a life of their own, places where people feel an immediate and lasting connection.
