Arya is a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant concept currently seeking their first site in central London. The design takes its cue from the landscape and material culture of the Mediterranean coastline, not as stylistic pastiche but as a set of principles translated into a contemporary hospitality setting. The concept is named Earth and Sky, drawing on the contrast between the warmth and texture of sun-baked plaster, terracotta, and worn timber, and the lightness and clarity of the sky above.
The concept has been developed as a kit-of-parts framework, adaptable to a range of unit typologies and scalable across multiple locations.

Banquette Seating Area
The counter is the heart of the customer experience, clad in a sienna Karlite fascia with integrated kickplate lighting and a blue square tile wall behind, placing the ingredient display in direct sightline from the street. Arched plaster thresholds, upholstered banquette seating, and a considered artwork programme complete the dining environment, creating a space that rewards both the passing glance and the longer visit.
